The city of Baltimore is gearing up for a major celebration during CIAA weekend 2023. The Greater Baltimore Urban League, The Finn Group, Black Girls Vote, Events 4 Good People, Standup Baltimore, and UPTOWN Magazine have joined forces to create Center Court Baltimore, a specially curated entertainment space that celebrates and showcases a diverse collection of small and minority businesses, vendors, artists, and thought leaders.

At Center Court Baltimore, visitors will find a range of food vendors, retailers, entertainment, and workshops focused on hair and beauty, health and wealth, and fashion and culture. In the evenings, ticketed events include the “Biggest MF’ing Happy Hour,” the “Hoop Dream Event,” and “Uptown Saturday Night.” The event will be held at the Power Plant, the old Barnes & Noble building located at 601 East Pratt Street in Baltimore.

LaRian Finney, managing partner of Center Court LLC, says, “Center Court has curated a best-in-class team from hair and beauty, fashion, culture, culinary, and event promotions. Leadership was very intentional to showcase the best of Baltimore during CIAA Weekend and provide true economic impact for Black and women-owned businesses.”
This exciting event is free to attend during the day, with workshops and retail vendors available from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets for the evening events can be purchased through the Center Court Baltimore website.

Center Court Baltimore is powered by The Cordish Company, The Greater Baltimore Urban League, The Finn Group, Black Girls Vote, Events 4 Good People, Standup Baltimore, UPTOWN Magazine, Sassy Shot, Dreadz N Headz, Earle Bannister, and Marcel Wines.
