Lil Rel Howery joined Ryan Reynolds, Joe Keery, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Camille Kostek, and director Shawn Levy for the world premiere of 20th Century Studios’ Free Guy at the AMC Lincoln Center in New York City on Aug. 3rd.

In the adventure-comedy that hits theaters on Aug. 13th, Reynolds plays a bank teller who “discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story … one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way … before it is too late.” Lil Rel is playing Buddy, presumably a character Reynolds’s Guy meets along his journey.

In addition to walking the red carpet, Lil Rel climbed into Xbox and Hoonigan Industries’ life-sized, scale replica of a Warthog from the Halo franchise. The vehicle stands tall on 43-inch tires and possesses a 1000+ horsepower and twin turbo small block Ford V8. Keep your eyes peeled while viewing Free Guy because you could spy a few all-terrain vehicles and tanks from the Halo universe.
