Saxophonist Mike Phillips released his debut single “Dream Again” on his music imprint, KIMM, in partnership with independent music distributor SRG-ILS on June 2nd, 2023. The song will also be the theme for the first minority-governed stock exchange, Dream Exchange.

“Dream Again” proves how powerful collaboration can be. In this case, Dream Exchange sought out Phillips to bring their vision to life. Phillips, then, reached out to producer, instrumentalist, and entertainment executive Hamilton Hardin and Tanya James of the TJ Entertainment Group. The trio collaborated with London-based lead vocalist Samantha Ikmu and a nine-person choir based in Atlanta and led by Zebulon Ellis. Their goal was to create a track that would grow into a well-known mantra to encourage people who may have lost their confidence to believe in themselves and dream big.

“Dreams come when you’re awake or even slightly rested. But it will remain a dream if you don’t work to manifest it. The future you create is all in your mind. You have the license to dream now; you can leave the doubt behind. Sometimes, I allow my past, insecurities, and doubts to tell me that I can’t. But I know who I am. Circumstances won’t define me. I got my purpose. That will drive me.” – “Dream Again” by Mike Phillips

Listeners should expect to feel jubilant and optimistic like Phillips did upon completing “Dream Again.” He explained the emotions surrounding the tune in a release, “This song makes me feel happy, joyful, hopeful, and ready to take the world by storm by putting actions behind my dreams.”
