White Men Can’t Jump stars, creators, and special guests attended the premiere for the Hulu film on May 11 at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

Cast members Sinqua Walls, Jack Harlow, Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Myles Bullock, Anthony Hamilton Jr., Slink Johnson, J. Alphonse Nicholson, and Arturo Castro were joined by director/executive producer Calmatic, screenwriter Doug Hall, producer Paul Hall, executive producer Ryan Kalil, executive producer Noah Weinstein, executive producer Brian Dobbins, and executive producer James Powers. 

White Men Can’t Jump is a celebration of Los Angeles’ street ball hustling culture and is a “modern remix” of the original 1992 movie of the same title that starred Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson, and Rosie Perez. Walls stars as Kamal, a promising basketball player whose aspirations in the sport were derailed. Harlow makes his film debut in White Men Can’t Jump as Jeremy, a former hoops star whose injuries stalled his own career. While wrestling with tenuous relationships, financial pressures and serious internal struggles, the two ballers learn they might have more in common than they imagined possible. Hall and Kenya Barris wrote White Men Can’t Jump.
