Olympia Ohanian’s hairstyle at the US Open paid tribute to a teenage Serena Williams, who made her professional tennis debut in 1999.

Olympia Ohanian honored her mother Serena Williams during the tennis great’s first match at the US Open this week.

The 4-year-old not only donned a sparkly Nike dress that matched her mom’s custom final tournament look, but also sported cornrows adorned with white beads that were reminiscent of Williams’s hairstyle for her professional debut at the 1999 US Open, which the GOAT won.

This tournament is expected to be Williams’s last, as she announced in August that she is “evolving away from tennis” to focus on growing her family with husband Alexis Ohanian. Olympia’s tribute was as touching as the video highlight of Williams’s accomplishments on the tennis court that played just before she entered the stadium to compete against Montenegro’s Danka Kovinić.

However, this isn’t the first time Olympia has rocked her mom’s and aunt Venus Williams’s iconic white beads. Back in December, the world’s youngest professional sports owner, who is a budding hairstyle icon herself, wore braided and beaded bangs.
