Flying the friendly skies takes on new meaning with the Zero-Gravity experience aboard G-FORCE ONE. A trip in this specially modified Boeing 727 is well, a trip. A study in weightlessness to be specific. If you ever wanted to know what it’s like to walk on air, here's your chance.Prior to lift off, passengers change into custom flight suits before a briefing at the training facility. Led by a professional astronaut, the prepatory session covers all the basics necessary for a successful mission at 34,000 feet: withstanding the pull of 1.8 Gs, flying like Superman, and tips for snagging floating M&Ms. During the three-hour flight, specially trained pilots engage in a series of maneuvers called parabolic arcs, which create an incremental decrease in gravity. At a cruising altitude of 24,000 feet, you'll lie on the floor of the "floating lounge," first easing into Mars gravity (about one-third of Earth's gravity), then Lunar gravity (about one-sixth). With the third parabola, you and the 30 or so other passengers begin to experience full weightlessness, floating and flipping with astronaut-like skill. Zero-G is all about hang time--feel free to ignore the fasten seat belt lights. Points of origin include Florida, Nevada, California, and Washington D.C. Upcoming flight schedule here. From $4,950.
