Marking Your Territory
Jeremy Brown, founder of Love Is Art, gives couples looking for a creative romp a do-it-yourself project that leaves a permanent reminder of their intimacy. The kit is simple: one plastic sheet (to minimize messiness), a non-allergenic canvas (to spread across your bed, floor—wherever), a bottle of washable body paint, and two pairs of disposable slippers. Add an open mind, and maybe a bottle of wine. Paint each other in stripes, solids, or from head to toe and get busy. What’s left is a piece of art to display. “No two paintings are the same, and there’s no right way to do it,” says Brown, who’s been making these provocative prints for more than 10 years. “Abstract art is indefinable.” Besides, sex on a bearskin rug is so ’70s.
