Camera Ready x100

Fuji FinePix x100 ups the ante on portraits-to-go

We love that smartphones make taking pictures so easy.

For impromptu photo-worthy moments, they're great. But for vacations, birthday parties, and school recitals, let's face it: for all their technological advancements, that Droid or iPhone just doesn't deliver the high-quality photos you get from a digital camera.

One we're feeling? Fuji’s FinePix x100.

First off, it’s a gorgeous looking camera. The old-school design reminds us of something that our parents would have used back in the day. But don’t mistake the FinePix x100 for an outdated piece of technology. With a photo resolution of 12.3 megapixels and a high-powered sensor and processor, this camera has a picture quality that can make the work of even the most novice photographer look amazing.

A smartphone can do a lot of things, but it can't do that.
