Stormy Weather & Economic Chaos
What do you do when each and every day equates to “Black Friday”? Why bother labeling it stormy Monday when Tuesdays are just as bad?
It’s true, the economic meltdown that now doubles as our universal economy has morphed into a rhyme totally without reason, pillaging domestic shores and engulfing global neighborhoods alike in ways this nation hasn’t witnessed since The Great Depression.
Stock in GM, once regarded as an economical stabilizer in these domestic parts, dropped to its lowest levels since the 1950s, partly caused by a free-fall along Wall Street that saw the Dow Jones drop to a five-year low of 8579.
These are critical times; and the time for action is now. And all John McCain can offer in the way of new found policy are trite, old guilt-by-association themes?
In the midst of this global economic chaos, one still wonders why McCain would align with a candidate who’s even less worldly (that, of course being Sarah Palin). One whose initial claim to fame centered around the basis of her foreign policy experience hinged on her ability to monitor Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin from her nearby Alaskan confines.
Barack Obama‘s plan outlines the critical course of change this nation now so desperately needs. Providing middle-class tax relief and spurring job creation are some of his primary concerns. Will this change come easily? Certainly not, but clearly Obama’s policies come across as more forthright and unapologetic than the act of mere finger-pointing and baseless name calling.
