Join the cast and the producer of the award-winning Broadway musical FELA! Monday, September 27, as they celebrate the CD release of an original cast recording.

Nominated for three Tony Awards, FELA! is the true story of legendary Nigerian Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s and explores his controversial life as an artist, political activist and his revolutionary music which inspired a nation.

The CD signing begins at 6:00 pm, with a break from 6:45-7:15 pm for a conversation with producer Steve Hendel. Hosted by Patrick L. Riley, chair, National Association of Black Journalists’ Arts and Entertainment Task Force.
