Capt. Dexter Nelson of the Oklahoma City Police Department said the shootings occurred at about 11:35 p.m. as large crowds were leaving the Chesapeake Energy Arena. One victim was listed in critical condition and seven suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A pregnant woman was reportedly injured when she was punched and kicked in the crowd outside of the arena.

“Whenever you get about 8,000 people outside of a venue, we are going to be outnumbered,” Nelson said. “You can’t have enough people down here for that.”

The overzealous fans filled in the area to watch the Thunder beat the Lakers 106-90 to advance to the Western Conference finals.

As of Tuesday morning, there have been no arrests and no one is in custody.

So by now, you’re probably well aware of Will Smith’s infamous “attack” on that Ukrainian reporter. Well after a little bit of digging, we’ve discovered that his name is Vitalii Sediuk, and that this isn’t the first time he’s gotten on the wrong side of Hollywood’s elite.

The proclaimed “prankster” is a anchor for Ukrainian morning show “Breakfast with 1+1.” He’s famous for his lighthearted approach in news, almost in a Borat-esque manner. It seems that Will Smith isn’t the first major celebrity he’s pissed off either.

Last year, he gave pop icon Madonna a bouquet of hydrangeas during the premiere of her directorial effort W.E. at the 2011 Venice Film Fetsival. Sounds nice, right? Well supposedly it’s common knowledge that Madonna hates hydrangeas (in her words, “loathes” them), and he purposely presented her with the flowers to get a rise out of her.

Whitney Houston‘s sister-in-law Pat Houston was not happy with Ray J last night at the Billboard Awards. TMZ has learned that Ray J was almost physically removed by security from the show after Whitney’s family ordered their security to get him away from them.

Minutes before the tribute to Whitney began, Ray J was seated next to the Houston family. Pat Houston, who believes that Ray J was a bad influence on Whitney, demanded her security remove Ray J from his seat but he refused to budge.

Pat then summoned hotel security, along with several uniformed officers to physically remove Ray J.

The death of Donna Summer yesterday took the music industry and global community by surprise. But many didn’t know about the singer’s long battle with cancer. Now, we are learning more after her death.

Summer was battling lung cancer and said that she believed she got the disease that eventually killed her after inhaling air post-9/11.

Sources told TMZ that at the time of the most heinous terrorist attack in U.S. history, Summer was living near Ground Zero. She reportedly became paranoid about breathing the air around her because of the rancid odor it carried.

Former New York Times magazine writer Edward Klein has ignited the controversial news with his anti-Bam book, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House. In the work, Klein writes about a 12-year-old rough patch between the two lovebirds, where Michelle considered leaving her hubby.

Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer, had the drug THC in his system the night of this death, according to new information obtained by ABC News.

The revelation came as prosecutors in the case prepared to release to the public hundreds of pages of new evidence along with videos and crime scene photos.

Martin’s death sparked public outrage after police released Martin’s shooter, George Zimmerman, without any criminal charges for the killing.

Perhaps you’ve been following today’s story in which a vitriolic race-baiting ad campaign, sponsored by the founder of TD Ameritrade Joe Ricketts was leaked to the New York Times. The guy who made the ad is named Fred N. Davis, III. He’s on Twitter, but his tweets are protected. He also is following only two people, has tweeted 80 times and has no followers. This was intriguing, so I read more about him.

Davis’ firm, Strategic Perception, Inc, is known for producing controversial videos for conservative candidates. On Strategic Perception’s website, he runs a quote by the late Steve Jobs, who donated thousands of dollars to the very candidates Davis was trying to defeat.

Although fibroids are benign tumors in the uterus, they can cause severe pain. Fibroids affect black women more than any other race. Black women are also the largest group to chemically straighten their hair with relaxers. So it’s easy to make the connection between fibroids and relaxers after hearing of the Boston University findings.

But Dr. Ray Howell of East Atlanta OB/GYN, who spoke with MyFoxAtlanta.com, says there needs to be more research, even though he understands how the researchers came to their conclusion. According to Dr. Howell, the link is the thyalates that perfume relaxers, but also may mimic the properties of estrogen, causing fibroids to grow in the uterus. Yet Dr. Howell maintains that there are too many variables involved to conclusively say relaxers cause fibroids.

So we won’t know whether relaxers cause fibroids until more research is done. But if you insist on having chemically straightened hair, there is one way to protect yourself from the potential risk: Avoid getting burns and scars from the relaxer, which would give the thyalates access to the bloodstream. And most hair stylists would also argue that you should leave the hair dressing to the professionals.
