The ladies of daytime television talk show “The Real” have cause to celebrate, as Fox announced “The Real” has been picked up for the fall 2014 lineup on FOX and BET.
After a successful four-week test run that “delivered big time,” Fox is excited to welcome the women to daytime television in 18 markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and Houston.
Led by dynamic hosts Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley, “The Real” delivers a unique perspective on world events and hot topics with a multicultural group of hosts. The talk show is set to bring more color to daytime television and expand BET’s goal for more original programming.
“We are thrilled that ‘The Real’ will be joining our line-up next year,” said Loretha Jones, president of original programming for BET Networks. “It is a fun and exciting show that our audience will enjoy and a perfect complement to our programming slate.”
The fall 2014 premiere date will allow the ladies to pursue other personal and professional projects, including reality television, new motherhood and new marriages, before being locked down to daytime television.
“Daytime viewers from across the nation tuned in everyday to share in the fun, authentic, energetic, and wonderfully outrageous hour that is ‘The Real’ experience.
