Tami Roman is trying to be about her business. If you’ve been watching “Basketball Wives” this season, she’s launched a lip gloss and nail polish line, which will hit shelves at Walgreens soon. And now she’s talking about a book and potential spinoff reality show.
She announced the book on the Hot 97 morning show:
“I have a book coming. It’s called Mistress 101 and it’s about women and their relationships and how they can keep them and what they should do and what they should be working on.
Tami explained that she’s never been a mistress herself though.
“I’ve talked to mistresses. I’ve been through a relationship and I thought I was the perfect mate, and I think there are a lot of women out there like ‘Damn, I’m a good girl,’ but clearly there were some things within me that, you know …”
Personally, and this is just me speaking for myself, I don’t want any relationship advice from someone who: a) Is not now and has not been in a relationship for some time b) Is getting advice from mistresses. Since when have they been the gurus of keeping healthy and stable relationships? c) Can’t even keep a friendship going without trying to smack somebody. But, you know, that’s me.
To add to her new brand, Tami is also trying to shop a new reality show, which would be named “Roman Empire”:
“That’s my own show. It’s in development. It’s about my life, my daughters, my core group of friends and Miss Elise Neal. I’m excited about showing the world who we are and what we’ve got going on.”
Will you guys be checking for that show? Or Tami’s book?
