Music fans are in for a treat this year as some old favorites are ready to release new heat for 2013.
On Thursday, Beyonce‘s official website announced the release of the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years. Love Songs will take DC fanatics back to the magic of the talented threesome that include Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
The album, available for pre-order on Amazon, features top hits such as “Cater To You,” “Emotion,” “Say My Name” and a new cut “Nuclear,” produced by Pharrell. The compilation is set for a Jan. 29 release.
Rowland and Williams are also expected to join Beyonce onstage during the Super Bowl’s halftime show, reports Us Weekly.
In another unexpected twist, Justin Timberlake has confirmed his return to music after a six-year hiatus. The Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter teased fans with a new video that detailed his reasons for the much-needed break.
“I don’t want to put anything out that I feel like is anything I don’t love. You just don’t get that every day,” he said. “You have to wait for it. […] I’m ready.”
A countdown has been added to Timberlake’s official Tumblr that ends at 12 a.m. on Monday (Jan. 14), which will reportedly lead to a new single.
We’ll be all ears…
