“The Lord saved my soul. Marjorie saved my life. You’ve got to be in a bad relationship to really understand what a great one is. Marjorie changed the way I existed,” Harvey told PEOPLE. “I’d never been in a healthy adult relationship. I’d never been loyal, I’d never been fully respected.”
Before marrying Marjorie in June 2007, Harvey was the product of two failed marriages with claims of infidelity. The radio/television personality has since admitted his mistakes and is using his experiences as lessons to others.

“I decided since I was of the few men on daytime television, I was going to be honest,” he said. “I talk about marriage, my children, my faith. Especially about the mistakes I’ve made. I had to have all that happen in order [to] be this today.”
Harvey and his beautiful wife will spread their love this Thanksgiving by donating more than 6,000 turkeys during a week-long promotion. Nearly 1,000 birds have already been distributed to needy families in Chicago, as well as local churches and organizations.
On his nationally syndicated radio show, Harvey said, “It’s truly a blessing to give away turkeys again this year so that anyone in need can share a warm and hearty meal and have a great Thanksgiving at home.”
