Basketball Wives star Royce Reed might have made her departure from the popular reality series, but that doesn’t clear her from the drama in her day-to-day life.
As the mother of Dwight Howard‘s son, the former Orlando Magic dancer is asking a judge to order the new Laker to pay her legal fees as they continue their custody battle. Both parties are seeking sole custody of the child.
TMZ reports Reed has now filed court documents in Florida asking for Howard to cover her legal bills because she can’t afford them. She claims the star center brings in more than $1.3 million per month, resulting in the biggest and best “army of lawyers.” Reed believes she fighting an unfair war and will eventually have to drop the case.

The documents also state that she’s already dealing with a bill of $44,113.50 and is expected to add an estimated $60,000 if she continues the process. Reed is seeking more than $100,000 to cover the costs.
A judge has yet to rule.
