Although Rodney King‘s death on June 17 was ruled an accidental drowning, the San Bernardino County coroner announced Thursday that drugs found in his system were contributing factors.
According to CNN, King was under the influence of alcohol, cocaine, marijuana and PCP at the time of his death and no foul play was suspected.
Rialto Police Capt. Randy De Anda said the autopsy conclusion is consistent with the police investigation’s conclusion.
King was found dead in the bottom of the swimming pool at his home in Rialito, Calif by his fiancée. He was 47.
