According to the Daily Mail, Stefan Heidenreich has expressed his disapproval of Little Miss Sunshine being the face of the skincare brand.
“Rihanna is a no go,” Heidenreich said. “I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”
Nivea, who sponsored her 2011 world tour, tapped the “Where Have You Been” singer to appear in several of the company’s advertisements for their 100th anniversary. But Heidrenreich said the ads should have never aired.
Now, would you ever expect Rihanna to go out peacefully? (The answer is no, if you were wondering.)
The singer posted a headshot of Heidenreich to her Instagram with the simple caption, “No caption necessary.”
