The New York Post reports The Isley Brothers and other surprise guests are also scheduled to hit the stage while Pharrell Williams will act as creative director. The Aug. 11 event will once again take place at Ronald Perelman‘s East Hampton estate.
Last year’s benefit featured performances from Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, Jon Bon Jovi, Ben E. King and Bettye LaVette, with dinner prepared by renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson.
A-list guests included Williams, L.A. Reid, Colin Powell, Russell Simmons, Andre Harrell and more.
The event raised more than $1.5 million to support Apollo’s performing arts, education and community programs.
