Go west, young (wo)man!
Longtime co-host Rocsi Diaz will reportedly be leaving BET’s video countdown show 106 & Park to pursue an acting career in Hollywood. To date, the 28-year-old’s credits include Gang of Roses 2: Next Generation and Soul Ties, which is currently in post-production.
According to sources, Terrence J will also be departing from the show to develop his acting career. He recently had a starring role in the box office hit Think Like A Man, which has pulled in more than $80 million against a $12 million budget.
106 & Park debuted on Sept. 11, 2000 with A.J. Calloway and Marie “Free” Wright serving as hosts until 2005. Big Tigger and Julissa Bermudez took over for one year (2005-2006) before giving up their duties to Rocsi and Terrence J.
There is no word on when the pair will be leaving.
