The card, which was available before Houston’s Feb. 11 death, mocks her rocky marriage with Hollywood “bad boy” Bobby Brown.
It reads: “Next time you think of dating a bad boy, consider Whitney Houston. That’s all I’m going to say.”
After much criticism, Target is pulling the card from its shelves. A rep for the store told TMZ, “The card was in our stores prior to Ms. Houston’s death. As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores.”
We can’t think of a circumstance in which you would actually give this card to someone, but we’re glad it’s off the market.
