It’s Official!: Beyonce Welcomes Baby Girl + Pregnancy Timeline [PHOTOS]
UPDATED: Sources tell E! News Beyonce delivered the baby girl through a natural birth and the first-time parents have named her Blue Ivy Carter.
The moment has arrived!
Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have OFFICIALLY welcomed a healthy baby girl.
The singer’s hometown paper The Houston Chronicle reports ”Beyoncé has given birth to a girl early this evening in New York, says a close source. Baby and mom are doing fine.”
Little sister Solange Knowles tweeted, “The most beautiful girl in the world.”
And Jay-Z’s protegé Rihanna tweeted, “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”
Close friend Russell Simmons tweeted, “congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z,” while Beyonce’s best friend Gwyneth Paltrow said, “Welcolme to the world Blue! We love you already.”
The “Love On Top” singer first announced her pregnancy in August on the red carpet of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Later in the night, Mommy Knowles presented her barely-there baby bump to the world in a performance surely to go down in Hollywood history.
Despite the rumors, conspiracy theories and flat out lies, their bundle of joy is here and UPTOWN congratulates the new parents on their new blessing!
