Artist Chenoa Maxwell features her first solo art exhibit – Introspection: INDIA. The month-long exhibit is being shown at the Papillion Institute of Art in LA. The exhibit, inspired by her travels, captures people of India in their natural environments and provides a glimpse into their everyday lives.
A sample of photos from the exhibit are compelling images that resemble scenes from a movie. Vivid in color, honest expressions and real situations. Nothing seems staged with Maxwell’s chosen cast of characters. It’s simply real life.
Maxwell held an opening ceremony for her exhibit drawing guests such as Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker. Guests honored Maxwell with cocktails and praises as she described her photo collection.
