Groove in Paradise: 15th Annual Bermuda Music Festival
Posted by on Aug 16, 2010

From the beach to the ballroom, experience three days of music bliss at the 15th Annual Bermuda Music Festival, September 30-October 2, 2010. The festival takes place at the Fairmont Southampton and features a knockout lineup, including Grammy award winning artists Ziggy Marley, Toni Braxton and Angie Stone, along with UK- sensation Estelle.

To make the trip even sweeter, festival attendees can take advantage of the Bermuda Department of Tourism’s (BDOT) “Endless Summer” offer. The BDOT has teamed up with 18 hotel properties and 13 celebrated restaurants to provide up to two free nights, based on two- to six-night bookings and buy one, get one free entrée specials — available for booking now through August 31. The promotion features accommodations ranging from luxury resorts and boutique hotels to beach clubs and historic beach-front properties.

“Bermuda is looking forward to the return of this highly-anticipated event,” said Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown, JP, MP, Premier and Minister of Tourism and Transport for Bermuda. “With the high caliber of artists announced, our close proximity from the East Coast and hotel offers available during the festival, we encourage travelers from around to world to visit Bermuda’s famed pink sand beaches, kick off their shoes and dance to the sounds of great music.”

The island, just under two hours from East Coast gateway cities, stretches for 21 miles along turquoise waters and is surrounded by a 200-square-mile coral reef plateau. Bermuda’s diverse activities offer an array of vacation options all year round, including more wreck dives than anywhere else in the world, championship golf, horseback riding, world-renowned deep sea fishing and smooth pink beaches to rest on by day’s end.
