INSIDER: The Life Aquatic
By Nicole Saunders
On a rainy day on Martha’s Vineyard, you can join the rest of the parents standing in the never-ending line at the Flying Horses carousel or you can head to the lesser known Waters of the World, believed to be one of just a few black-owned aquariums in the country. Last year, a group of buppies who have spent many summers in the area opened the attraction, located on Circuit Avenue in downtown Oak Bluffs. Watch daily shark feedings, touch a stingray, and check out the alligators along with a variety of fish from around the globe. watersoftheworld.org
