Pitches for Breakfast hosts special Father’s Day edition
Posted by on Jun 8, 2010

On June 12 Pitches for Breakfast will celebrate dads, professional men and Father’s Day by expanding its open mic opportunities to male pitchers of Pan-African descent (African, African American, Caribbean, and Latino) at its event originally designed for pitching by business and professional women only. This special edition of Pitches for Breakfast will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Dwyer Cultural Center located at 258 St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem.

In addition, the market-changing event will feature its first male keynote speaker, 24 year advertising guru, Larry Woodard, president and chief strategy officer, Graham Stanley Advertising who will discuss the significance of managing your personal and professional brand.

Pitches for Breakfast is a production of Precision Plus Communications, Inc., a full-service marketing public relations firm in New York City. Often a target of negative stereotypes, women of African, Caribbean, and Latin descent are poised for the opportunity to be recognized as a leading force in the business world. Pitches for Breakfast is focused on being at the forefront of catapulting the professional and bottom line growth of black women and their businesses.

At the event, participants have 60 seconds to pitch their ideas, services, products, companies or themselves and receive honest feedback from a panel of senior executives from corporate, financial, marketing, human resources, career counseling and other industries. To purchase tickets for Pitches for Breakfast on June 12 click here.
